According to journalist Elena Tregubova, Valentin Yumashev, the head of Russia’s Presidential Administration, tells her that secret police reports indicate that the country is on the verge of widespread unrest. In her 2003 book, Tales of a Kremlin Digger, which recounts her years as a member of the Kremlin press pool with access to top officials, Yumashev says to her off-the-record: “The fact is that we have received secret information from the special services that the country finds itself on the eve of mass rebellions, in essence on the verge of revolution… Believe me, the information concerns… secret reports that have been made to the president!” But Tregubova says that when she later discussed this information with Vladimir Putin, the then-head of the FSB (Russia’s intelligence agency), he denies it. “Yumashev could not have imagined that a mere three months later the existence of such ‘secret information’ would be categorically denied in a confidential chat with me by future president of Russia Putin, heading at that period of crisis the chief special service of the country.” According to Russia scholar John Dunlop, Yumashev’s claims suggest that he and other Kremlin figures were already thinking of a destabilization plan. Yumashev’s warning “sounds like advanced advertising for the ‘Storm in Moscow’ scenario”, writes Dunlop (see July 22, 1999). [DUNLOP, 10/5/2004, PP. 16 pdf file] Tregubova’s book, which has not been translated in English, is notorious for a scene in which Putin seems to try to seduce her during lunch at an expensive restaurant. (“I couldn’t tell whether he was trying to recruit me, or chat me up.”) Trebugova will loose her job shortly after the book is published. In 2004, a small bomb will explode near her apartment building as she is about to take a taxi. Unhurt but frightened, she will seek political asylum in Britain in 2007. March 5-July 1999: Russia Plans to Invade Chechnya
Since Chechnya achieved de facto independence from Russia in late 1996, its stability has been slowly unraveling as an Islamist faction led by Shamil Baseyev and Ibn Khattab is undermining the Chechen government led by President Aslan Maskhadov (see 1997-Early 1999). On March 5, 1999, General Gennady Shpigun, the Russian Interior Ministry representative in Chechnya, is kidnapped by masked gunmen just as he is about to board a plane to fly to Moscow from Grozny, the capital of Chechnya. The Russian government is outraged, especially since Maskhadov had guaranteed Shpigun’s safety. Sergei Stepashin, who is Russian interior minister at the time of the kidnapping, will later say that the Russian government begins planning a military assault on Chechnya shortly after. Stephashin wants Russia to conquer the flat northern half of Chechnya and then launch strikes into the mountainous southern half. However, Vladimir Putin, head of the Federal Security Service (FSB), Russia’s intelligence agency, advocates invading all of Chechnya. By July, Stepashin has been promoted to Russian prime minister, and he says that in a Kremlin Security Council meeting that month: “we all came to the conclusion that there was a huge hole on our border which won’t be closed if we don’t [advance] to the Terek [a river dividing the flat northern part of Chechnya from the mountainous southern part]. It was a purely military decision.” Stepashin is dismissed as prime minister in early August and replaced by Putin (see August 9, 1999). Chechen raids into the neighboring Russian region of Dagestan in August (see August 7-8, 1999) and a series of mysterious bombings in Moscow in September (see September 13, 1999, September 9, 1999, and September 22-24, 1999) provide the excuses for Russia to attack Chechnya later in September (see September 29, 1999). But Stepashin will later say: “We were planning to reach the Terek River in August or September. So this was going to happen, even if there had been no explosions in Moscow. I was working actively on tightening borders with Chechnya, preparing for an active offensive.” [WASHINGTON POST, 3/10/2000]

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS NEUTRON BOMB 911
ABC News
September 13, 2001 Thursday
SHOW: World News Tonight (6:30 PM ET) -
ABC
PETER JENNINGS, anchor:
There are a great many
missing in New York City and ABC's George Stephanopoulos is downtown where he
has been all day. Here's his report on the day and the search for the missing.
George:
GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS reporting:
That's right, Peter. I've
been walking. Now, you've talked about people walking aimlessly through lower
Manhattan today. It's really a separate city of 285,000 people, and I would say
it's divided into three zones. You're only allowed below 14th Street if you can
show you live there, or you have a legitimate work reason to be there. And the
area above Houston Street is like a pedestrian mall. There are a lot of
inconveniences. You can't buy newspapers. Some of the stores are closed. But
the parks are filled, people are walking around, and it's basically working at
some level. Then, of course, you come to the right side of ground zero, which
is just a rescue--search and rescue operation. The Lower East Side is kind of
interesting, and I hope we can pick up the video here. I was carrying this
little camera. It's an area now near
city hall that looks like it's been hit by a neutron bomb. All the buildings
are intact, but the place is abandoned…….
DOES AMERICA'S CAPITALIST SYSTEM MAKE WAR WITH RUSSIA INEVITABLE?
The American Ruling Class' international power is founded on the petrodollar. All of the petroleum producing countries in the world are more or less controlled by the United States. Russia is outside of this control. Russia controls the most of the asian continent. Undoubtedly their petroleum reserves must be well underestimated. Their oil resources are a threat to the petrodollar. America's covert war inside the Russian Federation in the Caucasus Region makes sense. The more Balkanized Russia is the more secure American power is in the world. The American Ruling Class refuses to develop alternatives to oil such as nuclear energy. In fact they have painted themselves into a corner, by having demonized nuclear technology. The ARC, if it wants to keep its power, has no choice but to pursue destabilization of Russia, further isolate it, and keep its oil off the market.

TARGETING OF DIA AND NAVAL COMMAND CENTER SHOW IT WAS NOT BIN LADEN
![]() |
Can you believe someone who flunked out of flight school did this? |
The targeting of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Navy Operations Center (NOC) shows that the 911 attacks were not an "inside job" nor were they authored by Bin Laden. This was not an inside job because the military would not have targeted their own command centers. This is not like sinking the Maine in Havana Harbor. This akin to the people who supposedly conspired to sink the Maine attacking themselves. And there is a big difference between sinking a ship in a foreign harbor and attacking your own headquarters. They could have just as easily sank an aircraft carrier in foreign waters to generate a cause for war. These offices were just recently renovated as well. What would be the motivation for them to attack themselves? These offices were deliberately targeted and the fact that they got past the Pentagon's defenses not only is an embarrassment for the American Military, it shows a great level of sophistication on the part of the attackers. Only a nation state could have pulled it off.
The targeting of the Navy Operations Center and the DIA shows that this was not Bin Laden. He allegedly was responsible for a couple of car bombings and the bombing the U.S.S. Cole. In the period of a year he supposedly makes a great leap forward in capabilities to that of a Super Power. In fact former National Security Council members have said that the United States would have had a hard time pulling off 911. The 911 Commission never explained how Bin Laden expanded his capabilities to the extent demonstrated on 911.
These attacks show that a nation state was the author of the 911 attacks. That nation was Russia. They are the only country with the capability and motive to have attacked on 911. Russia had an axe to grind with both the DIA and the United States Navy. The DIA is basically the direct action arm of the CIA.The DIA organized the terrorist war inside the borders of Russia. They organized the bombing of Moscow apartment buildings, killing Russian civilians while they slept. They organized the assassination attempts on Putin. They aided the Chechens who were the proxies performing these actions. The Navy on the other hand was responsible for sinking the Kursk. They then used the Kursk tragedy to embarrass Putin making him look powerless to the Russian people. The attack on the DIA and NOC was Russia killing two birds with one stone.

THE 911 COMMISSION REPORT
The 911 Commission Report among other things was a tool for the American Ruling Class to distance themselves from their secret war in Chechnya.
